JAMIE FRANKLIN announces her show at Rose Buford College in England: http://www.myspace.com/eta3_2006 We're about to put on our final show, a collectively devised piece which will take place throughout the whole grounds of our school....

40 performers take you on a journey through the night and our darkest fears. Combining intimate confessions and half remembered dreams Nightwalks blurs the line between sleeping and walking, between hope and despair, between performance and life. Nightwalks is an immersive experience lasting one and a half hours, with four entry times each evening. The work has been collaboratively devised by European Theatre Arts Level Three.

Performances are at Rose Bruford, http://www.bruford.ac.uk,in Sidcup - (BR Zone 5 London, UNITED KINGDOM) on December, Wed. 6th, Thurs. 7th. and Fri. 8th, four shows each night, but tickets are *very* limited. MARTIN GERO directs and helps produce the film, Young People Fucking, a feature film written by Aaron Abrams and MARTIN GERO. The film begins shooting in Toronto this month.


TRISHA ALLISON dances in LADMMI's 3rd year winter show, Cru d’automne 2006,December 19-22 at Theatre la Chapelle in Montreal. For tickets you can visit the website at www.lachapelle.org, though tickets won't be on sale until two weeks before the show.

LEVON HENDERSON is cinematographer for two U.S. feature movies shooting in the States after Christmas, one entitled That One Night.
You can see Levon’s work as cinematographer on the movie, Crossed, now available on DVD.


CHRISTIE WATSON is active in the theatre scene in Ottawa, working for GCTC and is presently  planning a new initiative, an awards programme for Ottawa theatre for the coming year.

MATTHEW EDISON’s The Domino Heart  is being produced in Ottawa,  by New Theatre of Ottawa,  directed by Peter Froehlich,  starring Mary Ellis, Kris Joseph, David McCallum.  Dec 7 – 17, Academic Hall, $20.00.

GREG NELSON was not on BOFA, nor did he go to Canterbury—however he was one of my students and his scripts first came to life on the Laurentian High School stage.

He is one of four terrific playwrights whose drama series, Afghanada,  is airing on CBC radio at 8:30pm  Thursday nights.

Priya Sankaran, who used to help us out on BOFA, is working with CBC Windsor, as a radio and television reporter.

RAOUL BHANEJA and ROBERT PARKER won the prestigious Montreal English Critics Circle Award for their production Hamlet (solo) which was featured as part of the 4th New Classical Theatre Festival. 
The awards, now in their seventh year were given out October 30 at Theatre St. Catherine with categories dedicated to best production, acting, writing, directing and design.  The BEST VISITING PRODUCTION honour was given to Hamlet (solo).

RAOUL BHANEJA is the subject of an on-going BRAVO documentary directed by Jeff Stephenson (Flyerman, TIFF 2003) that charts the development of the project from 2000 until the present. It includes interviews with a number of great Canadian actors who have played Hamlet including John Neville, Christopher Plummer, Brent Carver, Colm Feore, Ben Carlson, Richard Monette, Paul Gross, Albert Schultz, Joe Ziegler, RH Thomson and many more.

ROBERT PARKER is currently working as assistant director on High Fidelity, one of the most eagerly awaited shows to open on Broadway this season.


MATT EDISON performs in The Caretaker by  Harold  Pinter with  Soulpepper, until Nov. 25.

STEVE FISHER is once again a guest on CIUT 89.5's "The First Word",  Sun. Nov. 5, at 1pm. Steve will be on in the first half of the show, talking about the best of Toronto as it pertains to his general area of expertise, the performing arts. It will be a longer interview than the first time, and Steve is hoping to get into specifics about what I love about T.O.'s theatre, comedy, and music, so tune in if you're interested.

TERI  LORETTO and Jim McNabb perform together in The Last Disciple of Abraham,  New Ottawa Repertory Theatre,  Nov. 2-5, 9-12.

JIM MCNABB is directing a dramatized reading of a story
from Peter Showler's book "Refugee Sandwich" on Wed. Nov. 15 at St. Joseph's Church, corner of Cumberland and Daly in Sandy Hill, Ottawa, starting at 7pm.

He is doing workshops on scenic painting for Queen's University in November. AND he is doing the marketing for a cruise line, and all the shows for the Queen's University Dept. of Drama.

MARILYN has been accepted back at school to become a CGA!


DAVID NUGENT is at Stratford, taking acting courses at the Conservatory, and writing the musical he has been commissioned for.


Duncan Valliant-Saunders has just accepted a permanent position as librarian at the Bank of Canada.
