There is upsetting news about Willie Wyllie.

Willie is ill.

Willie Wylie is the man whose vision, drive, generosity, intelligence and commitment have created the phenomenon of the Canadian Improv Games.

He is the founder, the father, of the Games. Willie is in the Intensive Care Unit of the Ottawa Civic Hospital.

He is on life support systems, due to complications following a surgery for kidney stones last Wednesday. The doctors have so far been unable to find the cause of his very serious illness.

His family asks that you not call their home, nor visit the hospital. Many, many people are concerned. Only family and the minister may visit. Willie is not conscious.

Scott Florence is reporting on Willie's condition each morning and evening.
