For those of you who haven't already got the email forward that's been going around, "This Hour has 22 Minutes" has decided to take up Stockwell Day on his campaign promise.

Day has stated that (if elected) the federal government will hold a referendum on any issue, for anyone who presents a petition with at least 350,000 signatures.

The popular CBC show has thus started a petition asking him to change his first name to "Doris". If you're interested in democracy, head over to the 22 Minutes website to put your name down.
