They've finally recognized our TYLER !

TORONTO, ON - October 30, 2001 -

"We're really excited by ... all the imaginative ways Tyler came up with to break the ice with Extra Polar Ice," says Wrigley's Marketing Manager.

Wrigley's ad agency has developed a series of wacky man-on-the-street scenarios, and cast an up-and-coming comedy actor, Tyler Westerlund to execute them. Armed with only a few props and some Extra Polar Ice Gum, Westerlund took to the streets, using his charm, good humour and quick wit to entice passers-by into participating in some very off the wall situations. The results were impressive. Westerlund was able to convince about three-quarters of the people he approached to participate in zany and off the wall antics, including splashing around in a kiddie pool, lying on a bed of ice and jumping into a cold shower.

Wrigley Canada plans to spend several million dollars to support the launch across the country, with TV and a variety of other media, including FlashMedia, posters, floor decals for retail outlets and consumer sampling.
