March, 2002

... BOFA's youngest team by far, and its most energetic ever ( well the energy may be a tie with '90). It is a strong team.

Chris, Erin, Josh, Andrew, Rae, Trisha, Robin, and Alex made all proud when they came fourth in last Saturday's competition ( March 9) at the NAC before a huge crowd of Canterbury supporters.

The team was in second place at the end of the first Ottawa round.

Unfortunately for us, the "active characteristic" suggestion in the last game was "Charismatic", the team didn't know what it meant and the definition given to the team was " it means nice: people like you".
Suffice it to say we didn't nail "charismatic".

The Ottawa competition has changed:
1. It is very early now - it was held the week of March 4.
2. Only two teams go on from Ottawa to the Nationals.
3. There was an exhibition round early in February.

FYI: There is a website by Al Connors at www.ottawaimprov.com

The team is very young, (six are in their first year, 4 are 15, 3 are 16, 1 is 17), and we had about 5 weeks rehearsal time. They did wonderfully and have huge potential.

They are very excited about their upcoming shows and they think they may already have the key to winning finals gold next year!!! They can't wait! Congratulations, BOFA!
