CARI LESLIE,  host of the second season of the show, A World of Wonders, was at the Grand Canyon last week.  She says: It was incredible! I took a helicopter ride over the canyon, rode a mule down the side of the canyon (only for a few minutes, unfortunately) and talked to park rangers. We also went to the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest, and to Phoenix, AZ to a Hoop Dancing Championship … On Monday, we're off to Peru and Argentina for 15 days!  “

IRIS LAPID is performing in A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer, at the Petit Café Campus, McGill University, Sunday, February 17 and 18 at 8:00pm. Doors open at 7:30. Tickets, $10 for students, $12 general.   

MARJORIE MALPASS  is writing for the HGTV series, She's Crafty.  The ten episodes  will be on air soon.  The series was sold to South Africa, so Marjorie is an international TV writer!

MARJORIE is moving to Toronto at the end of February.  

Mooky ‘s show, The Glories of Gloria Review, is on April 25 at 7:00pm, and April 26 at 2:00pm.

MARTIN GERO’s movie, Young People Fucking, is playing in Ottawa, March 15, at  9 pm.
The Canadian Film Institute, collaborating with TIFF, presents the best of Canadian Films in 2007,  at Library and Archives Canada, 395 Wellington St.
